Taylor brought in the five books in Amulet series. The author is Kazu Kibuishi , a Japanese writer of graphic novels. This is in the genre of fantasy and is a series. The two main characters are kids, teens. The world is realistic somewhat but some characters are not. There are toys that come to life, two elves who are part of the story, and there is an amulet in the storyline. It’s like guide and a force that controls the main character, Emily, to do things against her will. Taylor says if you truly like eye catching details, amazing visuals, you will not be able to drop this book.”

ReplyDeleteI was totally surprises by how the first book caught me, hook, line and sinker! I have plans to read the series and that surprises me too. I rearely find a book series I am this enthralled to read but Amulet has a hold on me.
